Project overview
We were recently approached by one of our clients in the Limpopo area to present a solution for an area in their plant that was very dark. There was a lot of equipment in the area that created dark spots, making it difficult for the artisans to see.
Problem
During site visit we discovered there were multiple floors on the one half of the plant and an open space on the other half that needed to be illuminated. Mounting of the luminaires was a challenge as the space was 30 meters high and not easily accessible at all.
Solution
With the lighting design team, we determined the best fitting for the application is the BEKA OMNIBlast 2E Maxi 910 watt with 5188 optic. Due to the accessibility issues, we suggested luminaires with remote gear to be mounted on the sides of the building. Using the correct optic for this application ensures uniformity in the plant and a clear view for all employees, day and night.
