PROJECT OVERVIEW:
Outside our ballpark? No such thing. We welcome any challenge: The Brits Ringbal Club recently approached in to provide them with a lighting solution for Courts A & B We jumped at the opportunity, and we are proud to report that our first ever sporting application was a magnificent success.
THE PROBLEM:
The Brits Ringball Club is one of the largest clubs in South Africa, and often plays host to local and national tournaments. However, the one thing this club did not have going for it is lighting-and poor lighting would often impact the players game. To comply with national standards, the club required a specific lux level on the courts, and the previous installation of HID technology did not meet these requirements.
THE SOLUTION:
We stapped up to the challenge and started off by doing a lighting design to specify which LED luminain would offer the best solution Our recommendation? The BEKA LEDFlood Maxi 265-Watt Optic 5068. In addition to the existing poles, we suggested that the club add an additional pole as this would ensure that they meet the lux requirements and lighting unity.
The transformation was game-changing (pun intendedy The club is now fully compliant, which means they can host any game in the future, and the players have complimented the new and improved lighting setup. Now that’s a win!
