Project Overview
Underground working comes with its own challenges. One of these challenges is visibility to ensure a safe working environment for the workers. Our client approached us to help with a solution for a Tipping Station.
Problem
This Tipping Station was illuminated with 5ft fluorescent fittings which did not provide enough light for the workers and the cameras for the control room monitoring this area. The underground environment being what it is makes it difficult to mount any type of fitting.
Solution
We assessed the area and supplied our client with a BEKA LEDBay Midi 177Watt Optic 4130 (Wide Beam) Luminaire 29 000 Lumen 4000k Neutral White fitting. The LED colour of the luminaire makes the environment look warmer to work in and provides clear visibility for the cameras.
